About
Elizabeth’s current areas of work include:
- managing researcher development programmes through the Doctoral School and Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ and Innovation Services
- delivering initiatives to build communities of doctoral and early career researchers around common themes
- supporting individuals to identify their own development needs and ways to address them
Elizabeth contributes to researcher development strategy and policy at the University through the Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµer Concordat and Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµer Continuing Professional Development groups. Externally, she is chair of the national training group for the University Alliance Doctoral Training Alliance.
With a research background in Molecular Microbiology, Elizabeth joined Sheffield Hallam in June 2016 and her current role builds on previous experience as a researcher developer at the University of Edinburgh and Newcastle University.
