Keith is the Head of Ï㽶ÊÓƵ Excellence and Impact in Ï㽶ÊÓƵ and Innovation Services, supporting key business areas of the University's research portfolio including research policy, performance, assessment, ethics, integrity and governance.
About
Keith oversees the University's response to research policy initiatives from government, funders and other bodies, and contributes to the development of the University's research strategy.
The role includes managing the University's preparations for and submission to research assessment exercises, such as the Ï㽶ÊÓƵ Excellence Framework (REF). This includes coordinating quality assurance exercises and data analysis – monitoring the University's research performance, activity and progress against its research strategy.
Keith also oversees and supports the University's governance framework for research, including research ethics and integrity.
