Summary
I am a Registered Nutritionist and Senior Lecturer in Nutrition at Ï㽶ÊÓƵ, where I have worked since 2018. I have previously worked on policies and programmes to support healthier food provision for children, particularly in schools and early years settings, and this is also the main focus of my current research.
About
I am a Registered Nutritionist (Public Health specialism) with an MMedSci in Human Nutrition and a BSc Hons in Biomedical Science from the University of Sheffield. Before joining Ï㽶ÊÓƵ, I spent several years in the food industry and then worked for a non-departmental government body and charity on the development and implementation of standards and guidance for food in schools and early years settings.
I joined Ï㽶ÊÓƵ in 2018 and am a Senior Lecturer, teaching on our Association for Nutrition (AfN) accredited BSc and MSc courses. I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, AfN accreditation assessor and university ambassador for the Nutrition Society.
My research focuses on food provision for children, particularly in schools and early years settings.
