Dr Darryl Wilson PhD, MSc, BSc (Hons), PgCERT, FHEA

College Postgraduate Recruitment Lead, Principal Lecturer Sport Business Management

About

I joined Sheffield Hallam in 2004 as a consultant in the sport industry research centre before moving to teach the global economics of sport business and applied sport research on the Sport Business Management programme in 2008. In 2014 I took on the role of the postgraduate recruitment lead for the College of Health, Wellbeing and Life Sciences. My time is currently split between my teaching within the department of sport and physical activity and postgraduate student recruitment across the College. My main research interests and PhD focused on measuring success at major sporting events with particular interest in the Olympics, Paralympics and Commonwealth Games. I routinely present my work at major conferences and have numerous publications in the sport management field.
