Summary

For my PhD, I am investigating the behaviour of children in online gaming environments, with a specific focus on the risk and protective factors for sexual harm. My supervisors are Dr Kate Whitfield and Dr Oliver Merry.

I have research experience in topics surrounding sexual offending, child sexual exploitation material, perceptions of sex offenders, special measures for vulnerable victims and witnesses, and evaluating current practices. I have worked on commissioned projects with the British Board of Film Classification, Circles UK, the Economic and Social Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ Council, the Ministry of Justice, the N8 Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ Partnership, and West Yorkshire Violence Reduction Unit.
