I joined the university as a nursing lecturer in 2022 and I teach across range of topics, with a particular interest in global public health and healthcare research. About
Prior to working at Ï㽶ÊÓƵ, I worked extensively in public health - first as a nurse in HIV and sexual health, and later as health protection nurse. I specialised in health protection and outbreak control, working as a civil servant for the UK government, and as a global health adviser for an international charity, contributing to the implementation of our global standards across 24 countries in Africa, Asia, and the Pacific regions.
Alongside my work with Ï㽶ÊÓƵ, I am an Associate Tutor at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine [LSHTM]. I support the delivery of Professional Diploma in Tropical Nursing [PDTN] by facilitating group discussions during lectures, providing assignment support, assessment marking, and being part of the course committee.
I also remain on the , available to respond to infectious disease outbreaks around the world.
