Summary
I am a Ï㽶ÊÓƵ Associate at the Centre for Regional Economic and Social Ï㽶ÊÓƵ, Ï㽶ÊÓƵ. I am currently working on a national evaluation of the Affordable Homes Programme, commissioned by the Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities (DLUHC). I am also working on a solutions-focused research project exploring methods of improving job quality in South Yorkshire; as part of the Yorkshire Policy Engagement Ï㽶ÊÓƵ Network (Y-PERN) and in partnership with the South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority (SYMCA). Prior to this, I worked as an ESRC post-doctoral fellow at the University of Sheffield, examining the historical development of British social security policy over the 20th/21st century and its contemporary delivery in employment services. My research interests converge around welfare reform, employment services, labour markets, poverty and unemployment.
