Summary
I am Academic Delivery Manager in the Department of Allied Health Professions.
I work closely with Course and Module Leaders to develop teaching and assessment across the department. My clinical background is in radiotherapy physics and treatment planning.
Prior to taking up my current post, I was a Senior Lecturer and Course Leader in the Radiotherapy and Oncology Team at Hallam.
My research interests are in the fields of clinical reasoning and radiotherapy technology.
About
Mark have held a number of roles at Hallam since starting in 2012, including Course Leader and Team Leader roles.
My teaching focuses on the use of technology in radiotherapy imaging and treatment planning. I am an active researcher, with an interest in clinical reasoning and decision making in radiotherapy.

Clinical Reasoning in Image Guided Radiotherapy: An Observational Study
An investigation into the clinical decision-making processes used by Therapeutic Radiographers when using Image Guided Radiotherapy. The study observed 13 participants reviewing CBCT images using an observational technique known as Think Aloud. The observations were followed up with semi-structured interviews.
