Dr Mark Featherstone PhD, FHEA

Summary
For 16 years Mark worked as a video game developer before joining Hallam University to help develop their games provision. He's worked on PC, PlayStation and Xbox consoles for companies such as Gremlin, Rage, NCSoft, Infogrammes and Moonpod. He is also a qualified secondary school teacher and has special responsibility for student experience within the computing department. He runs ‘Steel Minions’, which is the department’s in-house commercial videogame development studio where students work on commercial and research-based game development projects.
