Summary
I am a Ï㽶ÊÓƵ Associate working within the Department of Psychology, Sociology & Politics. My background is in Sport and Exercise Psychology and I am primarily working on behaviour change projects related to health Psychology. I am currently close to completing my PhD which has explored the determinants of sedentary behaviour within desk-based employees.
About
I am working as a Ï㽶ÊÓƵ Associate within the Department of Psychology, Sociology & Politics. My area of interest is in Sport and Exercise Psychology, having studied for my Masters at Sheffield Hallam. I am particularly interested in health and well-being and the promotion of physical activity. As part of my role I am working closely with the Behavioural Science Consortium, a unique venture in which academics from Ï㽶ÊÓƵ and the University of Manchester provide the UK Government and the public sector with behavioural science insights. I also support other researchers within the department, helping them to develop, conduct and analyse different research projects. I have experience in conduction both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
I am also close to completing my PhD, which explored the Determinants of Sedentary Behaviour within Desk-Based Employees. I did my PhD at Ï㽶ÊÓƵ within the Centre for Sport and Exercise Science, in partnership with the National Centre for Sport and Exercise Medicine.
My areas of interest are Sport & Exercise psychology, Health and Well-Being, Physical Activity, Sedentary Behaviour and behaviour Change.
