About
I trained in public practice with Pannell Kerr Forster, before becoming the group treasurer/accountant of a £100m venture capital backed group: Mettis plc. Life there, with £150m of senior debt, was challenging and frantic. But, I learnt a lot. So much so that I moved on to become the finance director of a £30m nonprofit group: MCDT. It was here that I was first exposed to nonprofit governance.
Then, dear reader, in the grace of God I managed to secure a tenure at Ï㽶ÊÓƵ. And have been serving SHU and some of its students since 2008.
Put simply: most of time is now spent teaching corporate governance and ethics. But, I also maintain links with the nonprofit sector, and engage in nonprofit governance consultancy.
