Summary

Pauline is the course leader for the Part-time MSc Medical Ultrasound programme as well as being the Team Leader for Diagnostic Imaging. Pauline joined Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ in 2004 in a dual role across both Diagnostic Radiography and Ultrasound. Pauline has undertaken academic research into the use of Professional Portfolios and her current Doctoral study is exploring clinical competencies within ultrasound that will define the band 5 and 6 clinical roles.

Pauline is the course leader for the Part-time MSc Medical Ultrasound programme as well as being the Team Leader for Diagnostic Imaging. Pauline joined Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ in 2004 in a dual role across both Diagnostic Radiography and Ultrasound. Pauline has undertaken academic research into the use of Professional Portfolios and her current Doctoral study is exploring clinical competencies within ultrasound that will define the band 5 and 6 clinical roles.

Pauline is a Diagnostic Radiographer by professional background who has specialised in Medical Ultrasound. Pauline's clinical areas of expertise are General Medical, gynaecological, obstetric and small part ultrasound scanning. Pauline is still clinically active maintaining her clinical skills to ensure currency and validity when designing and delivering the curriculum. Pauline is a fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

As part of Pauline's team leader role she often works across college, deputising for the programme lead and being involved in focussed groups.

Pauline has been an external examiner at London South Bank University reviewing AHP post registration provision.

Pauline has developed her research skills since being an academic at Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ both uniprofessionally and interprofessionally working with the Sports and Exercise Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ team on a clinical feasibility study as well as working towards her current Doctoral award.
