About

Rose joined CRESR in February 2023. She is a quantitative researcher and works primarily on housing and place projects. She has recently worked on a range of evaluations, such as an evaluation of the impact of direct energy payments on health outcomes, an ongoing evaluation of the government’s Affordable Homes initiative, and an evaluation of Home Improvement Services in England.  
 
Rose completed her PhD in Social Policy at the University of Lincoln in 2019. Her PhD thesis focused on how housing tenure interacted with public attitudes to welfare. She undertook longitudinal, time series and comparative quantitative analysis of the UK and Europe using the British Social Attitudes survey, British Household Panel Survey, the European Social Survey and Eurostat data.

She previously worked as a quantitative Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ Fellow at the University of Leeds and the University of Nottingham on projects using government education data such as National Pupil Database and Individual Learner Record data. She has worked on projects funded by the ESRC Data Initiative and with funding partners such as the Nuffield Foundation and the Department for Education.
