Rosie Martin MSc, BSc (Hons)
Senior Lecturer
Summary
I am a Senior Lecturer in Psychology in the Institute of Social Sciences. My research focuses on a number of areas with Health Psychology and Behaviour Change.
About
I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of Huddersfield and my MSc in Health Psychology at the University of Centre Lancashire. I joined Sheffield Hallam to study for a PhD in 2017, I then had some time away working in a Public Health team for a local authority. I am now a Senior Lecturer in Psychology.
I teach both at undergraduate and postgraduate level, my teaching is focused around: Health Psychology, Social Psychology, research methods and the Psychology of Trauma.
I am interested in mixed-method research in Health Psychology and Behaviour Change. My PhD thesis focuses on medication adherence in patients with Cystic Fibrosis, using mixed-methods. I have also worked alongside Dr Suzy Hodgson and Amy Jenkin to aid the development of a Perinatal Mental Health Pathway for new fathers in Sheffield.
