Dr Sam Giove is the Director of Sheffield Business School, SHU. Sheffield Business School has approximately 6,500 students and 250 academic staff. We are an applied and purpose driven AACSB accredited Business School. This places us among the best business schools across the globe. We are members of UN Principles of Responsible Management Education (PRME) and have Small Business Charter status. We work to empower future leaders, bring together businesses, students, academic expertise, and drive societal change. 

Sam has a particular passion for ensuring HE experiences can enable social and economic mobility and genuinely transform lives.

Dr Sam Giove is the Director of Sheffield Business School, Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ.

Sheffield Business School has approximately 6,500 students and 250 academic staff. We are an applied and innovative Business School recognised by the leading accreditation body, Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), placing us among the best business schools across the globe. Since 2013 we have been members of UN Principles of Responsible Management Education (PRME). We have undergraduate and postgraduate courses accredited by European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD). We also have Small Business Charter status.

Sheffield Business School provides an exceptional student experience; we do this through programmes designed with industry, giving our students real-world learning, industry placements and global challenges to support excellent student outcomes.

Sam has over 28 years of experience working across the HE sector. She has held several senior academic posts to include Associate Dean, Teaching and Learning for Sheffield Business School and the College of Business, Technology and Engineering, Assistant Dean, Student Experience (SBS), Assistant Dean, Employer Engagement (SBS).
She is a recognised authority in the design of Learning, Teaching, Assessment, Student Engagement, Experience and Employability that leads to excellent student outcomes. She has a particular passion for how Higher Education experiences can enable social and economic mobility and genuinely transform lives.
