Summary

Bringing Computer Productivity to Business Creativity: I engage in roles that draw upon my knowledge and expertise in Enterprise Architecture and Conceptual Structures, which harmonise computer productivity with human and business creativity. My experience extends to Knowledge Architectures, Intelligent Systems, User Experience (UX), Cloud, Data Infrastructures, SAP, Web, Object-oriented Analysis and Design, and more. 

 

About

Through my industrial experience and academic knowledge, I have engaged in research (including externally funded), teaching and the professional development of enterprise standards and methodologies that address the issues organisations face in their business and technology dimensions. Pivotal to my work in these areas are Enterprise Architecture, Ontology and Semantics, Enterprise Systems, Enterprise Meta-models, Solution Architecture, Design Thinking, Data Infrastructures, and two forms of Conceptual Structures: Conceptual Graphs and Formal Concept Analysis. I was the former editor-in-chief of the International Journal of Conceptual Structures and Smart Applications (IJCSSA). I have co-chaired conferences and workshops, such as a) the International Conference on Conceptual Structures and b) MOVE: Measuring Ontologies in Value-seeking Environments. I publish widely, with over 110 learned publications to date.
