About
My background is in Sport and Exercise Science (BSc), Psychology (MSc) and Public Health interventions (PhD). As a research fellow on a large NIHR Programme Grant for Applied Ï㽶ÊÓƵ called STAMINA (Supported exercise TrAining for Men wIth prostate caNcer on Androgen deprivation therapy) I was responsible for developing and delivering the complex intervention underpinned by theory and evidence with support from stakeholder and patient and public involvement. I led on the delivery of a feasibility and acceptability study and supported the delivery of the main trial and parallel process evaluation including measures of dose, reach, acceptability, fidelity and implementation. I am currently the programme manager on an implementation study/ partnership supporting the development and delivery of new NHS pathways of care for people with cancer. Alongside my research, I am a line manager, PhD supervisor and deliver guest lectures/ seminars.
