I teach on the following modules; Vibroacoustics, Advanced Vibrations and Acoustics, Thermodynamics, Engine Technology, Automotive Design and Production. I provide support for matters relating to the organisation and operation of the BSc (Hons) Automotive Design Technology course.
About
I have interests in the wear mechanisms of mechanical components and how condition monitoring methods can be adapted to provide an indication of the component health. I am currently involved in a research project that is developing an online monitoring system to assess the condition of timing belts for automotive and robotic application.
My PhD is on the application of vibration measurement and associated signal analysis techniques to assess on line product quality of machining processes.
