Summary

Xiaohong's research interests cover a wide range of topic areas, including environmental sustainability (particularly on Industrial Ecology and Industrial Symbiosis), supply chain risk management, project management, and econometrical modelling (for different management areas' applications). Xiaohong has undertaken consultancy projects in the past by applying econometric modelling skills and knowledge to the real life construction workload planning for the States of Guernsey. She has successfully completed a Leverhulme Trust project by identifying success factors for UK manufacturing companies' survive and success. Currently, Xiaohong is working on the two research projects. The first one is improving environmental sustainability using a process perspective, and the other one is Industrial Ecology and Industrial Symbiosis for supply chain environment sustainability.

Xiaohong has constantly transferred her knowledge updated in research to her teaching. Her teaching expertise focuses on Operations Management related areas, which aims for continuous improvement in the process of producing/providing and delivering products and services. She also teaches Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ Methods module for postgraduate students. She supervises PhD and DBA students, and also Masters students.
