Colleagues from the Yorkshire and Humber AHSN have been huge supporters of the AWRC Wellbeing Accelerator, which has culminated in four of our participants being invited to talk at this online event.  and  are amongst the companies speaking about their innovations, how they could be readily adopted in the NHS as well as the barriers they’ve experienced in the world of innovation in rehabilitation.

What’s more, Dr Sally Fowler-DavisAssociate professor, Organisation in Health and Care and Ï㽶ÊÓƵ Portfolio Lead for the AWRC will be a keynote speaker at the event discussing how Rehabilitation is a driver for achieving better population health outcomes across a range of clinical and integrated services

Speaking of the event, Dr Fowler-Davis told us:

"Tackling health inequalities and organising ourselves to improve population health is a clear imperative and rehabilitation services in partnership with industry are in an important position to enable patients and the public to access the support they need."

You can also listen out for our programme partner  and SHU researcher, lecturer and neuro-physiotherapist Nicky Snowdon who will be presenting her latest research project.
