We’re excited to announce that we've partnered with UNIPRO football academy, offering students professional football training and coaching whilst studying their degree.

UNIPRO employ UEFA licensed qualified football coaches, a fully qualified physiotherapist, and a strength and conditioning coach as part of the core team working with students.

What you'll get

The UNIPRO programme which is delivered independently and runs alongside the University’s degree courses is available at an additional cost to students of £11,500 per academic year. This cost for the programme includes:

  • Up to two hours on pitch training four days a week 
  • Three strength and conditioning sessions per week
  • Represent UNIPRO in league matches and the University in the BUCS league
  • Weekly matches for a full nine-month season from September to May

On top of this, UNIPRO will also provide a Personal Development Plan (PDP), individual learning plans, video analysis sessions, recovery sessions, training and match kit and sports nutrition advice. 

You’ll also get the opportunity to train alongside Rotherham United Women and Sheffield United Women at the Sports Park facilities.

To support your learning you’ll have access to fantastic training facilities such as Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ Sports Park and the strengthening and conditioning facilities at the University’s Collegiate Campus.  


The University also offers a range of sports facilities such as an athletics stadium and a physiotherapy clinic at the English Institute of Sport located at the University’s Sports Park at Bawtry Road, as well as having fully equipped gyms at both City and Collegiate campuses.  

Two cutting-edge 3G pitches have been installed at our Sports Park on Bawtry Road, providing students with a top-tier sports facility on campus.

The UNIPRO programme, consisting of football training and coaching, is delivered independently of Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ and runs alongside the University’s degree courses noted, as such the University is not responsible for the contents of the UNIPRO programme.
