QS Stars is a rating system that provides a detailed look at higher education institutions across the world, focusing on specific topics such as teaching strength, graduate employability, facilities, inclusiveness and innovation.
The University achieved an overall five-star rating and was awarded the maximum five stars in eight out of nine categories including teaching, student employability, innovation and knowledge transfer.
This reassessment marks the third consecutive 5* QS Stars rating for Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ.
It also achieved five stars for the quality of the University’s facilities and four stars in the research category which looks at research productivity, the impact of that research, the amount of funds dedicated to research, and a university’s reputation for research among academics.
Sheffield Hallam also received the maximum 5* rating in environmental impact, global engagement and good governance.
James Richardson, Director of Global Engagement, said: “Once again, Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ has been recognised as a five-star institution following a rigorous and independent collection analysis of performance metrics and data in the QS internationally renowned bench-marking exercise.
“We will use the findings presented to us by QS to further improve the experience of our students and to advance our global engagement ambitions.”
