Launch of Sheffield Robotics

On the 10th of December 2014 the Centre for Automation and Robotics Ï㽶ÊÓƵ (CARR) and the Art and Design Ï㽶ÊÓƵ Centre (ADRC) together with the University of Sheffield celebrated the launch of (previously known as SCENTRO).
Sheffield Robotics aims at making Sheffield a regional, national and international hub for robotics. The University of Sheffield and Ï㽶ÊÓƵ combined the efforts to integrate robotics research and make out of Sheffield Robotics a central reference point for research into robotics in the UK.
The open day allowed researchers, scientists, students and enterprises’ representatives to witness the impressive research into robotics at both universities.
