This module aims to provide the theoretical and evidence based underpinning for contemporary practice within radiotherapy planning. Exploring strengths, limitations, and practical issues influencing the efficacy of radiotherapy planning techniques. This module may be useful to practitioners who wish to develop their understanding of contemporary radiotherapy, planning practice and how this influences the radiotherapy management pathway.

Relevant work experience.Access to radiotherapy planning software is ideally required.
Reliable internet connection.
If English is not your first language you must have an IELTS score of 6.5 with a minimum of 6.0 in each skill area.

Provisional timetable
The module site will open for induction activities on Monday 12th January 2026 and will commence on Monday 19th January 2026. This module ends on 16th April 2026.
