If you have already applied for the September 2025 intake of Minor Illness Management, we will contact you/your trust as soon as the new modules are available.
Minor Illness is an ideal module for registered clinicians who are expected to work at an advanced level of practice within a community setting, such as a GP surgery or unplanned care/walk in/urgent treatment centre and are expected to see, assess, diagnose and manage patients with a variety of health conditions.
This level 7 module covers the theory and practice of advanced physical assessment, examination, and management of patients presenting with a variety of health conditions commonly seen in primary care settings. It is envisaged that this module will prepare the primary care ACP on their journey to towards achieving an autonomous advanced level practice qualification, underpinned with contemporary evidence, and be aligned with the core capabilities set out in the multi-Professional framework for Advanced clinical practice in primary care.
