Our state-of-the-art facilities are based in Sheffield's Innovation District - research and innovation activity is undertaken to support and promote the UK's position at the forefront of the global food and drink system.

Academics, students and collaborators have access to pilot-scale production facilities, laboratories, and workshops powered and controlled by a fully-equipped, industry-standard plant room.

This impressive facility was made possible by funding from the Higher Education Funding Council (HEFCE - now the Office for Students) and the European Regional Development Fund.
