This project explored the readiness of social landlords in England, Scotland and Wales for the introduction of direct payment of housing benefit to tenants. In particular, it examined the extent to which social landlords had the data and IT systems required to effectively manage the risks arising from the introduction of the direct payment of housing benefit to tenants.
