What is it for? The SolidWorks Student Design Kit (SDK) has the same functionality as a 'Standard’ installation of the SolidWorks CAD modeller; but does not include simulation or other more advanced features. It does not have all the same features as the version on SHU PCs but does allow you to gain familiarity with the software and to create and edit geometry on your own PC or laptop.
